I should be finished by the end of May. La's having fun in Cardiff, dancing, and will return just in time for the completion of the songs ready to begin rehearsing. I'm Phil, one half of FireFliers.<br />I began making up tunes at an early age. Shortly after I became interested in recording on a tape recorder.<br /><br />My formal music training began on piano when I was 8, although I really wanted to play the big bass drum!<br />At 12 my wish was granted and I began learning drums under the tutelage of Andy Treacey (drummer for Faithless).<br />I aquired the classic Korg M1 (synthesiser) when I was 16, to help compose for my music A-levels.<br /><br />My musical education continued at University, studying composition, performance and recording techniques.<br /><br />Lara and I first met when working in the same office in a school.
